Robert Leslie Miles, M.D., F.A.C.S., is an experienced bariatric surgeon in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Miles has been a surgeon for over 17 years, and has performed over 1300 bariatric procedures - including Roux-en-Y and Lap-Band.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Dr. Miles completed an internship and residency at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. He is a member of many surgical affiliations, including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Miles is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
