Dr. French has fellowship trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and ultrasound. In addition to his bariatric surgery practice, Dr. French is also an instructor the American College of Surgeons' Abdominal Ultrasound Course. Dr. French received his M.D. from Tulane University Medical School before completing his surgical residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. French is a member of both the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons as well as the American Board of Surgery.
