Dr. Moore is one of the only female surgeons in the area, giving her a special interest in women's health and disease. She has been approved as American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence Bariatric Surgeon, due to her vast experience and relatively few complications. After receiving her M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, Dr. Moore completed her surgical residency at Louisiana State University. She is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
